Today is mine….
Been in the garden all day, it’s been wonderful weather finally after several rainy days.
While working in the garden came to think of an old song I (Mrs. Hult) loved many years ago but have forgotten about. Today it came to mind and the words came back to me as I worked in the garden. Just found the lyrics to the song online:
“When the sun came up this morning I took the time to watch it rise
And as its beauty struck the darkness from the sky

Seems I’d forgotten there for a while what opportunities a new day brings….
And the treasures a garden brings, all this beauty gathered at one small place.

Ah, a summer garden, so well kept… no one realizes how much love and attention this requires.. it is almost like having a child….
It has been said, one is no closer to God, than he who works in a garde….
